TERMS & CONDITIONS
Terms & Conditions on Ordering Custom Printed Signs, Textiles, & Advertising Specialties from Signs Your Way.

Prices include layout consisting of text and supplied graphics & logo designs. Actual shipping charges will be added to your order.

There is no set-up charge for custom printed signs, ...IF:

You supply the complete film positive.

OR, You supply an .eps file of the entire design.
(Most graphic programs allow you to save the file as an .eps)

We can also use Windows Corel-Draw files, up to version 10.
(Please convert all text to curves)

SIGNS YOUR WAY will layout the text, and ready to use graphics. You can supply an .eps, or Corel-draw file of your graphic/ logo, or we will use images from our massive graphics library. We have most well known corporate logos, and millions of other ready to use graphics. OR, If your design involves text only, we have thousands of font styles that we can use to design your sign.

IF YOUR ORDER DOES NOT MEET ONE OF THE ABOVE CRITERIA, you will be charged for a minimum of one hour design time, @ $45.00 per hour.

EXTRA CHARGES WILL BE APPLIED IF:
The image file is not in a useable format (.eps or Corel-Draw) OR, we create custom artwork for you, scan images, or if we have to modify your artwork to make it useable:

  • For non-stock colors, $20.00 each.
  • For grommets .20 each.
  • Close color registration will cost extra.
  • Any different sizes or materials other than listed.
  • Rush production and/or delivery.

THINGS WE DON'T DO:

  • Full bleeds off edges.
  • Exact color matches (pms, etc.).
  • Graphics requiring EXACT registration.
  • vCreate PROOFS or samples before we get a confirmed order.

PROOFS:
For most custom sign printing, we may fax you a proof to sign before we print. You may request changes 2 times without extra charges. Over two times $25.00 per change will be charged.

If you request that we design / layout your sign before you actually place the order, we MUST charge a fee of $50.00, which will be credited back to you when you place your order. If you decide not to place an order, this fee WILL NOT be refunded. The reason for this is that we must cover our costs in time and materials to perform this time-consuming task. A proof is a service to the customer to allow for last minute changes. If you do not return your proof, we will assume that it is correct, and begin production.

ABOUT COLORS:
For our printed signs: STOCK colors are black, red, yellow, brown, orange, reflex blue, royal blue, light blue, forest green, & burgundy.

TERMS AND PAYMENT:
In order for Signs Your Way to provide you with top quality services and products, at the lowest prices,WE MUST INSIST ON THE FOLLOWING TERMS:

  • All orders must be pre-paid before we print on all first time orders. In some RARE cases with TEXTILE printing, we may charge a 50% deposit on the total of the order, the balance due C.O.D.
  • ALL CREDIT CARD, COMPANY CHECK, AND MONEY ORDER payments must be received before we can start printing. Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express are accepted.
  • You may be sent a proof by fax or mail.
  • ORDER COMPLETION: Depending on the item and number of colors, you can expect shipment within approximately 5-14 working days from the date we receive your signed proof and payment, depending upon the size and complexity of your order.
  • North Carolina orders must include a 7% sales tax. If you have a re-sellers' tax identification number, you MUST specify when placing your order. You will be required to send documentation of proof.
ALL PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE

TRADE TERMS & STANDARDS OF THE SCREEN PRINTING INDUSTRY:

  • Quotations:
    A quotation not accepted within thirty days is subject to a review and another quote.
  • Order Cancellation:
    Orders go into production at Signs Your Way when ordered and cannot be cancelled. If we do decide to allow an order cancellation, we shall be entitled to full reimbursement for any cost already incurred on our part. Your failure to return a proof or provide needed artwork and/or information WILL NOT entitle you to cancel your order.
  • Preparatory Work & Materials:
    All designs and graphics created by Signs Your Way, and materials created or furnished by us, including screen use, and film positives, shall remain the property of Signs Your Way, and no use of same shall be made except upon written approval by Signs Your Way.
  • Over-runs & Under-runs:
    Over-runs or under-runs not to exceed 10% shall constitute acceptable delivery.
  • Delivery & Shipping:
    Unless otherwise specified, actual shipping cost will be added to your order for ALL UPS and FED-EX shipments. On large shipments that must ship by truck, we may ship freight collect. IN THE RARE EVENT that we deliver in person, payment MUST BE COLLECTED, or products WILL NOT be left, and we will ship them COD, shipping cost included. If a deposit has been collected, balance is due upon receipt.
  • Order Production Time:
    We do everything possible to complete your order in the time specified to meet deadlines, but Signs Your Way cannot be responsible for delays caused by war, riot, civil disorder, fire, strikes, accidents, customer negligence, actions of the Government, civil authority, acts of God, or other causes beyond our control.
  • Product Quality:
    We strive to produce only top-quality products and reject all miss-prints. As with any printing process, colors may vary slightly with different supplies of ink, and small imperfections may occur in the printing process. Unless these flaws substantially degrade the product quality and we consider these products a miss-print, shipment of said merchandise will constitute acceptable delivery. If you receive products produced incorrectly due to a mistake on our part, our liability is limited to reprinting corrected products.
  • Indemnification:
    The customer shall indemnify and hold us harmless from any and all loss, cost, expense, and damages on account of any and all manner of our claims, demands, actions, and proceedings that may be instituted against us on the grounds alleging that said printing violates any copyright or any proprietary right of any person, or that it contains any matter that is libelous or scandalous.
  • Storage of Customer Merchandise:
    If you would like us to hold products for you until needed, there will be a $2.00 per day storage charge per 100 lbs.
  • Regarding All Textile Screen-Printing & Specialty Items:
    Signs Your Way will send a fax or e-mail to be certain we have the precise number of products ordered; including material colors, ink colors, print location, styles, and sizes. This description may be sent with your artwork proof. We will require a signature from the client who places the order. This is to ensure excellent service.

Your satisfaction is our priority, and this applies not only to our products and service, but to your privacy. All information you provide to us is held in the strictest confidence, and will never be shared with other parties without your consent. This policy includes the harassing practice commonly known as spam. We make every effort to keep our mailing list up-to-date and remove anyone who is no longer interested in receiving information from us. In fact, each of our customer communications clearly outlines the process for removing yourself from our mailing list. If you have had trouble with this process and are still receiving material in error, please do not hesitate to contact us by email, phone, fax or even postal mail so that we can get the matter cleared up immediately.
